Law Enforcement Aide Program (LEAP)
Get Paid to Get Fit Before the Academy!
The Law Enforcement Aide Program (LEAP) is designed to prepare and support aspiring police cadets who are committed to joining the ranks of law enforcement but may need additional time to meet physical entrance standards. LEAP has proven to be a successful stepping stone, increasing the number of cadets in our academy classes and empowering participants to achieve their goals.
Program Highlights
- Earn While You Prepare: Participants earn $19.75/hour through a temp agency, working up to 40 hours per week (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
- Professional Experience: From 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, participants gain valuable insights into the profession through administrative duties, providing a firsthand look at the world of law enforcement.
- Physical Training: The final 1.5 to 2 hours of each workday are dedicated to physical fitness, helping participants meet the required physical standards—while getting paid to work out!
- Pathway to Success: LEAP is the ideal program for individuals ready to take the next step in their law enforcement careers.
